Play Areas

There are 2 play areas that are provided and maintained by the Parish Council.

Westerton Play Area

The original play area, located just north of Richmond Road, Westerton is on land leased from the Goodwood Estate. It can be found by going north towards the Motor Circuit, turn right into Westerton Lane, go past the first turning to Richmond Road, turn left into the second turning to Richmond Road, go up there a short way, and then take the Public Footpath on your right. This path leads to the Play Area which is behind the houses on the north side of Richmond Road.

It includes swings, junior swings, climbing frame, seats, bins and two football goals with nets. There is lots of space and a picnic bench. There are also four fitness / work out stations have been added (for over 14 year olds only.).

Village Green Play Area

The other play area is on the Village Green which is owned by the Parish Council, and includes a wide variety of play equipment for small children upwards, all within a fenced area. There are 2 seats and a low bench table,  just waiting for a picnic! Pictures to be added.

 

Please note: Dogs are Not allowed in the Children's  Play Area.
